I am so excited I came across this recipe! Being the amateur cook that I am, I wanted recipes that were simple yet would taste like I slaved in the kitchen for hours Hey, I gotta impress my in-laws! This was to die for! I definitely see this being a recipe I make for years to come. Thank you! Good luck with preparing your Thanksgiving meal this year. Keep up the good work! Hi Michael! Every member of my family lives this! I used skim milk and it was perfect. The cheese sauce is so smooth and creamy with great flavor. But, it does reheat well in the oven so if bet it would work well. My recommendation would be to stop at the step where you place it in the oven after covering with the cheese.
Baked mac and cheese has to be up there with my favorite comfort foods. These photos are definitely droolworthy. A friend recommended this recipe to me after I had it at her house. It is wonderful!
